What is Ashburn Cutting Edge Academy?
Ashburn Cutting Edge Academy or ACE is proud to administer US Figure Skating Aspire Programing. This program is committed to developing beginning freestylers, as well as providing the serious figure skater a place to train at their own pace, all while encouraging the benefits of group instruction.
If you are interested in developing your figure skating skills, and have at least Basic 3 skills, then ACE is for you.
ACE Group Lessons
If you are a Basic 3- Freeskate 6 skater you are eligible to participate in our ACE Academy Group Lessons. We follow the Learn to Skate USA curriculum just like our 7-week series, but skaters in our ACE groups can attend as often or as little as they like. When a skater completes a level, they simple move up to the next level. No need to wait for the 7-week series to end. This allows students to learn at their own pace.
Classes are $18 each.
ACE Skill Specific Classes
For skaters in our higher levels, including US Figure Skating Preliminary-Senior levels, we offer Skill Specific classes.
These classes vary from on ice classes like Moves in the Field, Ice Dancing, Stroking, and Synchro skills, to off ice classes like Plyometrics, Ballet, and Pilates.
The schedule for these classes changes throughout the week. Classes are $18 for an on or off ice class.
How to Join the Fun-
To register for any of our classes please be sure to create a DaySmart account and select the skater who will be attending the class when you register.

Our Classes can be purchased one at a time or with a money saving pass.
These passes expire after 3 months and are priced as follows:
8 Class Pass- $120
12 Class Pass- $156
24 Class Pass- $240
You must be logged into your DaySmart account to view and purchase passes. Once you have a pass, you may "apply pass" at check-out to pay for your classes.
