The 2022-23 season marks the 20th year of AIH House Selects. The goal of the House Select program is to offer top players from within the Ashburn Ice House Youth League an opportunity to train and play with the strongest players from within their division. This team of divisional all-stars will practice, train, and participate in tournament and exhibition games throughout 2022-23 season.

Players are nominated by their head coach to attend a tryout in late September. If picked for the Select team, the program will provide jerseys/socks, practice ice, exhibition games and 1 tournament for each team. Mite Selects will play under the Ashburn Xtreme uniform, participate in CBHL jamboree’s, exhibitions and attend half ice tournaments.

All players are also required to purchase pant shells and player warm up from the AIH pro shop at an additional cost ($150-175 total).  

Program cost is $795 for all players.

SPRING YHL 2023 Registration Opens Jan 11!

The Ashburn Ice House offers 2 seasons of Youth House League competition.

• Season #1 - Fall/Winter Youth House League (late August to early March)
• Season #2 - Spring Youth House League (late March to late May)

Our Youth House League is divided into 5 Divisions of play based on player birth year.

Mini-Mites (6U) - Born in 2017, 2018 & 2019

NO EVALUATION.

Registration Fee is $276   

8 games. No practice.

Players assigned to teams by AIH Staff

Mite (8U) - Born in 2015, 2016 & 2017

Evaluation: Monday March 13th at 6:10 to 7:40 PM

Registration Fee is $576

Squirt (10U) - Born in 2013 & 2014

Evaluation: Tuesday March 14th at 6:10 to 7:40 PM

Registration Fee is $576

Peewee (12U) - Born in 2011 & 2012

Evaluation: Wednesday March 15th at 6:10 to 7:40 PM

Bantam/Midget (15U) - Born in 2008, 2009 & 2010

Evaluation: Thursday March 16th at 6:10 to 7:40 PM

Each evaluation session above will be divided into two or three equally sized groups. Parent accounts will be emailed with your child's evaluation time 12-24 hours before their session. 

2022-2023 USA Hockey Confirmation Number is required to register for this league. This is the same number as the Fall/Winter 2022-23 Season.

1 Game per week (Saturday Afternoon)

Mite Division (8U):

1 Practice per week (Monday) & 1 Game per week (Saturday Afternoon)

Season Cost is $576

Squirt (10U):

1 Practice every other week (Thursday) & 1 Game per week (Sunday Afternoon)

Season Cost is $576

Peewee (12U): 

1 Practice every other week (Monday or Thursday) & 1 Game per week (Saturday Evening)

Season Cost is $576

Bantam/15U Division (15U):  

1 Practice every other week (Monday or Thursday) & 1 Game per week (Sunday Evening)

Season Cost is $576

First practice on either March 19 or 20. First game on the weekend of March 25 or 26. No games on the weekends of April 1-2, 8-9 due to LCPS Spring Break/Easter Weekend and May 27-28 (Memorial Day Weekend)
